This privacy policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you, in conformance with applicable privacy law obligation. Our privacy policy applies to your use of our website located at https://www.malpack.ca/ (the “website”) and any other interactions you may have with us (by telephone, email, and in person).

When you submit personal information to Malpack, including when you order our products or on a voluntary basis, when you apply for a job with us or authorize us to obtain personal information from other sources, you are agreeing to be bound by this privacy policy. This privacy policy is not intended to cover information other than personal information, such as business or anonymous information. Malpack is a leading manufacturer of stretch wrap films with operations in Ontario, Canada, and North Carolina, United States.

We will obtain your consent to use your personal information for such new or additional purposes before doing so.

Job applicants

If you apply for employment, Malpack, in order to process your job application may collect and process data about your career interests and employment history (“job applicant data”). Job applicant data is used for staffing and recruitment activities, and to maintain an inventory of candidates for current and future work opportunities.

De-identified, aggregate or anonymized information

We may also de-identify, aggregate or anonymize information to identify trends, manage our business, develop statistical information, understand how we are performing, or develop relevant products, services or offers. Such information may also be shared with third parties for other analytical purposes but will not personally identify any individual and therefore is not subject to this privacy policy.

We may share your personal information in the following situations:

If Malpack discloses personal information to third parties engaged to perform services for us, Malpack prohibits the third party from using personal information for any purpose other than the specific purpose for which Malpack supplies it. Malpack requires third parties who receive personal information to use safeguards equivalent to those in place at Malpack to protect that information.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means, appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

10. Do not track signals

Some internet browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari, include the ability to transmit “Do Not Track” or “DNT” signals. Since uniform standards for DNT signals have not been adopted, our website does not currently process or respond to DNT signals.

11. Children

Our website and our services are not intended for use by children, especially those under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you have reason to believe a child under the age of 18 has provided us with their personal information, please contact us using the contact information outlined below and request that such information be deleted from our records.
